Accreditation
L.S. FIRE is a private Certification Body Accredited according to the UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012 standard, which establishes the requirements that a certification body must meet to demonstrate that it operates in a competent, consistent and impartial manner. The laboratory has its own management, technical and organizational system regulated according to the UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 standard. This allows L.S. Fire to perform fire reaction tests at a high technical level and is able to guarantee maximum reliability of the results deriving from its testing activities as well as careful and prudent management of customer requests.
The future goal is a continuous improvement of its performance, through careful analysis and self-assessment processes that will lead the laboratory to add further standards to its accredited test park.
The use of the Accredia – ILAC MRA mark is bound by specific contracts signed between Accredia and L.S. Fire. It cannot be affixed, for example, on the samples subjected to testing, nor used to indicate the certification of materials but only associated with the test reports of the accredited standards. For a more complete and exhaustive definition for the correct use of the mark, and the related sanctions in case of violation, please refer to the reading of RG-09 – Regulation for the use of the Accredia mark.
